Mission
FLOAT is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to saving lives and improving quality of life by delivering best-in-class water safety education and skill-based swim instruction to underserved communities.
FLOAT accomplishes its mission by partnering with public aquatic facilities, municipalities, hotels/resorts, water parks, homeowners associations, country clubs, community recreation departments and nonprofit organizations in the U.S. and abroad to create cost-free swim and water safety programs led by volunteer certified swim instructors and water safety experts, utilizing innovative technology and U.S. Coast Guard certified safety equipment.
From swim lessons and lifeguard training to AI-supported video monitoring systems that enhance pool safety by detecting distress and reducing response times, FLOAT delivers comprehensive solutions based on the needs, abilities and goals of those served.
